Information we collect

We collect only what the services need to work:

• Contact details you provide — your email address, name, phone number, and ZIP code when you sign up, request a report, or contact an agent.
• Activity on the site — saved homes, saved searches, watched ZIP codes, calculator inputs, messages you send through your account, and which features you use.
• Approximate location — we estimate your metro area from your IP address to show relevant market data. We only use precise location if you grant it in your browser.
• Technical basics — browser type, device type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working.

We do not ask for, and you should never enter, Social Security numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive financial information anywhere on this site.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the site and your account: showing market data for your area, saving your homes and searches, generating reports you request, and connecting you with the agent whose site this is. If you consent to contact, we use your details to send the communications you asked for. We also use aggregate, de-identified activity to improve the platform.

Your consent choices

Consent on this platform is granular and separate — agreeing to one thing never opts you into another:

• Email updates — you choose whether we may email you market updates and saved-search alerts.
• Agent contact — a local agent contacts you only if you explicitly check the box asking them to.
• Text messages — SMS is a separate opt-in and is never bundled with any other consent.

You can change any of these choices in your account settings at any time, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Lender options and preapproval

The "Get preapproved" feature shows you a set of mortgage lender options, including national lenders and a local credit union, plus an independent comparison site. How this works matters:

• We receive no compensation from any lender. No lender pays us for placement, clicks, or referrals. Lender tiles display in random order.
• We are not a mortgage broker, lender, or financial advisor, and showing a lender is not an endorsement or a recommendation. You can use any lender, including ones not listed.
• When you click a lender, you leave our site. Anything you do on the lender's site — including any application you submit — is governed by that lender's own privacy policy and terms, not ours.
• What we record: if you are signed in, we record that you started a preapproval with a given lender so your agent can support your search. We do not see or store your application details, credit information, income, or documents.
• What we share with lenders today: nothing. We do not send lenders your personal information.
• In the future, we may offer an optional prefill feature that, only with your explicit consent at the moment of use, shares basic contact details (such as your name, email, phone, price range, and ZIP) with a lender to save you typing. It would never include financial details, and you could decline it and continue anyway.

Who we share information with

Your information is shared with the real estate agent whose site this is — that is the point of the platform — and with the service providers we use to run it (hosting, email delivery, mapping, and data providers), each bound to use your data only to provide their service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, agents, or the platform.

Keeping your agent's CRM current

If your agent has connected their Follow Up Boss account to Casanna, Casanna helps them keep that system up to date for the contacts that already live in it. For any lead that originated in the agent's Follow Up Boss account, Casanna automatically reports the agent's related activity — such as calls, appointments, emails, notes, and status updates — back to that Follow Up Boss record. Casanna is updating a record your agent already maintains in their own system; it does not create a new record and does not share your information with any new party.

Contacts that did not come from Follow Up Boss are never sent to it. A lead created directly in Casanna (for example, a sign-up on your agent's Casanna website) or imported from another source is never reported to Follow Up Boss.

AI features

Parts of this platform use artificial intelligence — for example, market summaries, content generation, and home value estimates. Where AI systems process text that could contain personal information, the platform automatically redacts personal identifiers before any external AI processing and restores them only on our own systems. AI-generated estimates and summaries are informational and can be wrong; they are not appraisals or professional advice.

Listing data

Listing information comes from the local multiple listing service (MLS) under IDX rules and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use in identifying properties you may be interested in. Listing data is deemed reliable but not guaranteed.

Data retention and security

We keep your information while your account or inquiry is active and for as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections, single-use sign-in links instead of stored passwords for consumer accounts, access controls that isolate each agent's client data, and routine security monitoring.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile, notification, and consent settings in your account. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at the address below; we will honor verified requests except where we must retain records by law. Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights, which we will honor.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. For material changes affecting how we use personal information, we will give notice on the site or by email before the change takes effect.
